Cape Cod From Above

In 1914 the Cape Cod Canal was cut through the base or isthmus of the peninsula, turning nearly all of Cape Cod into what would technically be described as an island. One of the biggest barrier islands in the world, Cape Cod shields much of the Massachusetts coastline from North Atlantic storm waves.

And isn't she just beautiful?

Isn't She Beautiful!

The harbor around the corner holds the key to my heart. Well, one of them anyway. Her name is "Siren" and she's beautiful, don't you think?

Look at the beautiful lines she has along with her wooden trim. And I'm ever the fan of a blue hull. She's pretty and built for very, very comfortable travels.

It was a beautiful day today. Cape Cod is full of it's treasures.

Enjoy it,
