4x4 Wrapped Beeswax Candles
These are huge candles with a very large flame. Wrapped candles burn bright and beeswax is infamous for being long lasting. They measure 4 inches wide by 4 inches tall, and are of course hypoallergenic. It's just the all natural scent of beeswax here, but they do have a very, very subtle sweet smell.

Here Comes the Sun.
The walls in the bedroom on the second floor of the barn are white. I usually like a nice tan or a cream color. But the light pours in upstairs and the white walls make the room too inviting. The room is awake and alive and the sun too nice to allow going back to sleep. Even when it's cold.
I've been enjoying getting up to a light, bright sun poured bedroom. Wasn't it Joni Mitchell who said, "And the sun poured in like butterscotch and stuck to all my sense." That sounds about right.

My New Post Office
I don't have a mailbox at the end of my drive anymore. I now have a P.O. Box Number, and I go and drop off my parcels and pick up our mail nearly everyday at the post office. A kind, tall man named George, who seems to know everyone and their phone numbers by heart, greets me with a smile every time. He's probably lived on the Cape all of his life. But then, who knows.
There's a dog there that naps a couple of feet away from the front door. He's a nice mannered, laid back Border Collie looking beautiful guy. I'll take a picture of him and upload it. I wonder what his name is...

Hi. It's Been A While.
It's been more than a month since I've touched base with you. Sandstone Coast, as well as my family, have made big changes. We finally made the move to Cape Cod for good. All the little shops and beaches, charming Cape towns and wonderful people are now all right here. No more packing the car for the short drive down 495 and across the Bourne Bridge, and then home again at the end of the day. Now, we're already here. We're home. :)
My husband and I, along with our two golden retrievers live in a converted barn with a porch downstairs and a balcony upstairs. Our view? Horses. We're just a couple of miles from the sea and right next door to a patch of land with two gorgeous horses. We've become fast friends.
I hope you'll continue to come and visit me here. I have some new things in the shop I'd like to share with you, and of course I love sharing Cape Cod and home decor photos that inspire me.
